January Jones, la actriz que encarna a Betty Draper en la serie de televisión ‘Mad Men’, ha posado desnuda para Versace, concretamente para la campaña de primavera/ verano 2011 centrada en los bolsos, zapatos y gafas de la firma italiana. Las fotos las ha hecho el prestigioso Mario Testino. La campaña publicitaria recuerda el espíritu de los años 60, los que recrea la serie a la que Donatella Versace se confiesa como una gran seguidora.
January Jones ha sido fotografiada prácticamente desnuda, cubriendo una parte de su cuerpo con un bolso y con unos zapatos de tacones de Versace muy altos. Para los fans de 'Mad Men', January Jones es la ex mujer de Don Draper. Ahora, también será recordada por no tener ningún complejo en mostrarse completamente desnuda. Donatella Versace confesó: "Siempre estoy a la búsqueda de la próxima rubia Versace y en January encontré la perfecta mujer Versace para el siglo XXI. Ella es chic y profundamente sensual al mismo tiempo", declaró. La campaña, realizada en un estudio londinense, promete ser todo un éxito.
Por parte de January Jones, hace ya un cierto tiempo que ella deseaba entrar en el mundo de la moda, aunque su sueño es hacerlo como diseñadora. "Pero no quiero ser la actriz que tiene una línea que otros diseñan", confesó. Esta campaña para Versace puede ser la perfecta transición para la ex modelo.
