Deepika and Siddharth Mallya off to UK for New Year
Does this mean the couple will bring in 2011 together?Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Mallya were spotted at Mumbai's international airport on Sunday afternoon. The couple was headed for London.
It looks like the twosome preferred to soak in the Christmas festivities here and then head for England for the New Year celebrations.
Though the actress stuck to a casual jeans look as travel wear except for her furry boots, Mallya Jr was in a leather jacket and muffler. London is freezing and Dippy certainly needs a lot of warmth!

Ranbir Kapoor says Sorry to Deepika Padukone
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor creates a lot of drama in font of the house of Deepika Padukone on Sunday night. The actor was in a bit inebriated condition and dropped in front of Deepika’s house at around 12:45 Pm in a bid to say sorry. The actress was not in a mood to allow him and asked the security guard to goon with his duty.According to the eye witness, Cozy home apartments guard was adamant on his words and did not allow the star, despite huge bribery by Ranbir and also literally falling on his legs. Ranbir was dressed in jeans and white T shirt and started to create a ruckus.
However, after an hour long wait, Ranbir Kapoor was allowed inside by Deepika, in order to avoid media attention. Ranbir started to shout at Deepika’s balcony, with the word sorry and this melted the heart of the beauty and allowed him inside. But sources say that, Ranbir was saying sorry, for the heated argument he had with her last week and also was apologizing to her, from his parent’s side as well.
It is a fact that Deepika Padukone has also got rid of the RK tattoo from her hand.

“Take off your make-up and only then you can do serious cinema?” Deepika questions the convention, adding, “but glamorous roles and a glamorous screen presence do not make one a non-actor. The content of cinema is also changing, evolving... it is no longer the regular boy meets girl.”
Deepika says she wants to play all kinds of roles in all kinds of genres and will always be critical of herself and her work.
Her next release, by the way, would be Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal with Saif Ali Khan .

Deepika arrived into the scene on 5th January 1986, in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is the daughter of Ujjala and Prakash Padukone, who was the Badminton Champion. The sports genes runs in her family, for she herself played badminton at state level until 10th grade while her younger sister Anisha has taken to sports on a more professional level, with a strong interest in golf.
