Born on 27th August 1980, Neha Dhupia is a Sikh born in Cochin, Kerala. Her father is Pradip Dhupia, a Commander in the Indian Navy and her mother is Manpinder. She has a brother Hardeep.Her schooling was at the Naval Public School in Cochin and later at the Army Public School in New Delhi. Her college years were spent at the Jesus and Mary College and she graduated in History.
She was five when she got a break in the TV serial Rajdhani. Fame beckoned in 2002 when she won the Miss India title and was amongst the final ten at the Miss Universe pageant.
Dhupia is dating squash player Ritwik Bhattacharya.
